About me
Hi. My name's Richard Stainton. Once upon a time I was journalist working in local newspapers but my career has increasingly taken a technical direction, from web content to web development. I'm currently taking a Full Stack Web Developer course with the Code Institute, but I'm also available for part-time or full-time work.
I'm based in Bournemouth, so I'm mainly interested in jobs in Dorset and Hampshire. However, I will consider jobs further afield. My skillset is currently 'front end' but by the end of the year I should have full stack knowledge. I also still have the copywriting and copy editing skills I learned from working in journalism and marketing.

Interests
I'm at my happiest rummaging around charity shops and car boot sales, looking for rare DVDs or musty old paperbacks with lurid covers. My musical tastes are mainly focused on synthpop, industrial and soundtracks.I love food, the spicier the better, and occasionally I run it off. I've even run a couple of marathons.
I also love writing — I'm two thirds through writing a thriller.
